Happy Mother's Day

My sister-in-law teaches a youth group of girls at our church. She asked for help for Mother's Day. These are the cards they made.

The top one is the photo I sent to her for her approval the second is my demo card and the other two I used the cut supplies and made them birthday cards.

I think they turn out well.

WWC169 - Charlotte's "All About Occasions" Challenge

Charlotte is hosting the Occasions challenge this week.
This is a card and treat box for my mother's day class.

I did have 3 choices of colors as well as an alternate sentiment.

The card base was shown at a meeting I went to. I love how the paper in the "Share What You Love" bundle is heavy enough to stand alone as part of the card base.
The cardstock layer was cut at 5" x 5.5". With the 5.5" side of the cardstock at the top of the Scoreboard I scored at 4.25",  the DSP was cut at 5.5" x  4" and attached to the inside of the .75"  side of the fold to make the DSP the card front .5" of the reverse side of the DSP was added to the card front leaving a border of cardstock on both sides. when the card is open you can see the reverse side of the DSP  so the inside is pretty too.

The Pearlized Doilies are lovely and are just the right touch behind the sentiment. The mother's day card is from You're Inspiring and the birthday is from  Beautiful Bouquet. The Share What You Love Artisan Pearls finish off the cards.

The treat box uses the tiny treat boxes, I wrapped a piece of Mint Macron cardstock that I had embossed with the layered leaves embossing folder around the box. I punched two daisies and pinched the petals adding a circle of crushed curry cardstock in the center, The bee is from the Detailed Dragonfly Framelits.
